Apply the following Cs to learn _anything_ better. The best learning environments have **all** **four:** Companions, Comparisons, Categories, and Coaches, but _any C is better than none_.

## Companions

- Share your mezcal experiences with others to draw lines that eventually form the bigger picture. Drink with people who engage with and consider the mezcal in the same ways that you want to.

Start your own log in the **[Tasting Room](https://mezcalcuriously.discourse.group/t/read-about-the-tasting-room/114/3)** to share your journey with others in our community!

## Comparisons

- Uncover your preferences by tasting mezcal side by side. This reveals patterns that separate tastings might miss. Allow the flavors from one sip to overlap the next to make your preferences more apparent.

## Categories

- Take Notes. Organizing your thoughts and tracking patterns through mezcal’s complexities is easier with some structure.

Get your **[Free Tasting Log](https://mezcalcuriously.com/home#shop)** to start learning what you like.

## Coach

- Find someone who meets you where you are in your journey. A good guide improves your experience with patient curiosity, helping you draw the lines from one mezcal to the next.
